Ohio authorizes its notaries to perform online notarizations pursuant to Ohio Rev. Code Ann. §§ 147.60 et seq.

In addition, Ohio recognizes online notarizations that are properly performed by notaries of other states. The applicable interstate recognition laws are Ohio Rev. Code Ann. §§ 147.51 & 5301.06.
